Additional fans can be installed on all Noctua U-type and D-type cooler. Although it is technically compatible and easy to do, it will yield minimal improvements in cooling performance (0.5°C max.), but noise levels will increase significantly. As this doesn’t make sense from a technical point of view, we don’t offer it separately for purchase.
Still, we provide fan mounting clips for Noctua CPU coolers free of charge if required, e.g. if customers would like to add a third Noctua fan to their dual tower cooler or if they would like to install a different type of Noctua fan that is not supported by the stock fan clips that came with the cooler.
